School calendar have been changed so as to fit the current pupils and students. Parents have been advised to apply guiding and counselling techniques to their children.
The KUPET chairman Mr. Amboko Milemba said yesterday on 2nd November 2021 that the secondary school students will break shortly.
Today on 3rd November, Cabinet Secretary of Education Prof. George Magoha have also stressed the point saying that both the primary and secondary schools will be going for a half term.
This short holiday will start from date 19th to 23rd November 2021. The school closure date is on 24th December 2021.
The education team decided so as to allow the parents get time in using
guiding and counselling techniques to children helps in controlling bad behaviours.
This will also help the pupils and students in freshening their minds because the school calendar changed after the pandemic which resulted in a tighter schedule than before.
The pupils and students also lack enough exercise because school sports competitions are not existing any more.
Many schools do not have bigger play grounds and entertainment activities to help balancing the stress hormone in the body.
