On Saturday 30th October 2021, the country’s President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta met with the One Kenya Alliance (OKA) principals in favour of the former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga.
The aim of the President was to convince the four principals Hons. Gideon Moi, Musalia Mudavadi, Steven Kalonzo and Moses Wetangula to join Hon. Raila Odinga to win the Presidential seat of 2022.
Hon. Musalia Mudavadi the Amani National Congress (ANC) leader said that he cannot be led on the way he himself have choices to follow. His wishes are not in favour of anyone when he can also go alone.
The leader’s wish is to become the fifth president of Kenya and not to help someone get the seat.
Hon. Gideon Moi of KANU party stressed on how to improve the country’s economy by doing away with corruption which will favour the Kenyan citizen.
The leader also showed his interests in vying for the presidential seat of the year 2022.
Hon. Kalonzo Musyoka wiper party leader issued an attack speech to Hon. Raila Odinga of how he wish to give out 6,000kshs to 2.6 Million families which in favour of youngsters.
His speech was accompanied by how he will reduce the tax rate by 50%. He stressed much on how the fuel prices keep hiking every time.
This is contrary to Uganda and Tanzania countries where the fuel prices are lower than in Kenya. The irony is that, Uganda country get fuel from Kenya.
Hon. Moses Wetangula the Ford Kenya party leader on the other hand talked about the Value Addition Tax (VAT) levied to goods which are priority.
He said that their aim is to see the prices coming down in favour of the Kenyan voter.
Among the four principals, three of them want to be OKA flag bearer. This issue of whom to be is what will separate the principals in future if the deal will not be well taken care of.
Whom do you think can make it to the presidential seat? Do you feel that the principals contradict themselves by not having the right conclusion of who to be?
