Matatu Sacco’s and motorcycle businessmen have today strike for the hike of petrol, diesel and kerosene which is making the life of ‘wanjiku’ to be more hard.
This shocks Kenyans as the prices in Uganda is a bit lower than in the country when Uganda gets its petrol, diesel and kerosene through our port at Mombasa.
Ethiopia petrol price per litre is 51kshs whereby it is a landlocked country and the petrol reaches the country at high expenses.
The Migori ‘bodaboda’ also strikes for a cut of the costs which is threatening them in the industry. They have requested their hustler chairman who is the second in command Dr. Ruto to step down if he wants to win the confidence of the public now. They say that he must challenge the government for the high costs of petrol, diesel and kerosene.
There are more people in the country who have raised their cry to the government as well as the senators who under speaker Ken Lusaka will be discussing the issue on Tuesday next week.
