On 1/09/2021 was his bad day after the principal of Chavakali High School sent him back home for lack of school fees. The boy had nothing even a shilling in his pocket and what he did was to walk a 35km way to Kakamega town. The hungry boy did not had food the whole day but met the Lord’s security guard who bought him some snacks to cool his hunger. Eunice Nekesa came to his rescue and gave him supper and where to sleep.
On 2/09/2021, Linus was to start his 110 km journey back home to Cherangany where his helpless parents stayed. Well wishers helped him get the media station where they aired his story and was in wait for a positive results.
Radio Citizen was in the front line in airing Linus Story and the office of MP Kutuny communicated back in helping the boy after requesting his details.
Some things happen with good reasons as Linus Kiprop can now smile like other students in the school. My urge is to see the parents of Linus Kiprop being raised to another level of life.
