Razer is a company popular for making slim gaming laptops but of late they’re making headsets too. Razer released a new line of headphones under their brand, the Razer Opus headphones which are designed for extreme comfort. Here is what they’re all about.
The Opus is designed for comfort
Weighing only 265 grams distributed evenly throughout the headset, it is designed to be worn overhead in a circumaural position. For long hours of usage, it features plush leatherette memory foam ear cushions that cover your ear comfortably. The headband is adjustable and also padded with leatherette. There is a snug clamping force when putting it on so it’s extremely comfortable to wear.
These headphones are THX certified so the audio from these headphones is high quality. Additionally, advanced active noise cancellation technology enables pure, high fidelity sound with zero distractions. Auto play and pause mode also features. All you have to do is take it off to stop music or put on the headset for music to resume.
The opus has 6 microphones, four for hybrid active noise cancellation technology and 2 for voice chat. Attention mode amplifies ambient noise hence makes you aware of the surroundings.
The headset features 25 hrs of battery life and charges via USB C. It pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. You can download the Razer Opus mobile app to control how your audio sounds.
