Apps to make you passive cash this quarantine

If you have an internet connection in your house and you’re bored, here are some apps to make you passive cash while doing things you may come to love. These apps may not make you a fortune but they sure will make a few coins to buy you soda and pizza for the weekend.

1. ClipClaps

This app pays you for watching funny videos so it tops my list. All you have to do is download the application from Google’s PlayStore or Apple store and install it to your phone. You are then required to regieter an account with the service and then you’re good to go.

How it works

After registration, you are greeted with the home screen which contains an array of endless videos. After watching the funny videos for some time, you receive chests that contain either coins or tickets to a lottery of other prices. A timer at the bottom indicates how far you are from receiving the next reward. The redemption rate is 100,000 coins for a dollar, payable to PayPal.

In addition to watching videos, you can earn from the lottery, by investing your coins for a greater return, by spinning their lucky wheel or by fish farming on their aquarium. I find the fish farming to be specifically therapeutic.

2. Onepulse

This one pays you for answering short surveys. After downloading the app, you then register an account for free and you are all set. The landing page displays their logo for a few seconds before you are redirected to the home page which contains surveys.

How the app works

There are two types of surveys, XP Surveys and paid surveys. These surveys have a black dollar sign at their side. As the name suggests, paid surveys are surveys that earn you money. XP surveys help you to increase your experience on their XP meter. In the long run, this will increase the number of coins you earn in a paid survey, so they are equally important.

You get a paid survey each day. The withdrawable amount is 5$ payable to your PayPal account.
