Huawei releases 5G white paper to help fight covid-19 pandemic

Huawei is considered the leading global 5G supplier of internet products. The Huawei company boasts of having been awarded 91 commercial 5G contracts and shipped over 600,000 5G Massive MIMO Active Antenna Units (AAUs).

During th 5G+, Better World online summit, the president of Huawei’s Carrier BG Marketing and Solution Sales Dept, Peng Song launched the new 5G white paper


Huawei also launched 5G+, Better World an online platform to work with operators and partners worldwide, share valuable experiences, and build better target networks.

What is 5G white paper

5G white paper is a Technology against Pandemics it gives Insights and Practice on Telecom Networks. This white paper provides deep insights into global networks and explains the important role telecom networks have played in the fight against the pandemic. 

Huawei says that telecom networks have been number one in helping people perform vital activities online, such as online education, online shopping, and remote working.

The white paper also provides details of global operators’ best practices for overcoming the pandemic with networks. An example, the 5G, AI, fiber 10G PON, and other advanced technologies have enable more applications to combat the pandemic more efficiently.

At the Huawei event, Huawei stated that it plans to invest US$20 million into innovative 5G applications over the next 5 years, contributing to a thriving 5G ecosystem and accelerating the commercial success of 5G.

Other Huawei news

Huawei released the its business results for the first quarter of 2020. In the release Huawei stated that the company generated CNY182.2 billion in revenue, an increase of 1.4% year-on-year. 

This increased the company’s net profit margin to 7.3%
